The Toronto Entrepreneurship Association (TEA), a dynamic club at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), embarked on a mission to revamp its online presence. The goal was to create a website that not only served as an informational hub for students but also encapsulated TEA's brand values and showcased their team and partners. Additionally, the association sought assistance with videography and video editing for engaging social media content.

The Problem

The problem TEA was facing was having no website that integrated their brand and their values as a club. This website needed to include pages showcasing their partners and the clubs team, a contact page that is easy to navigate and that includes the location of the association, and finally an events page that showcases upcoming events that lists location/description of the events and can be easily edited. Additionally, the club also needed video content for their social media pages from their events.

The Solution

The solution involved crafting a vibrant 6-page website that seamlessly integrated TEA's brand aesthetic and values. Key features included:

  1. Mission and Values Integration:

    • The website prominently featured TEA's mission, values, and partners, providing a comprehensive overview of the association's identity.

  2. Engaging Landing Page:

    • A captivating landing page celebrated TEA's Toronto roots, creating an immediate connection with visitors. A self-updating social media feed added dynamism.

  3. Organized Team Showcase:

    • The "Our Team" page was organized by departments, catering to the club's preferences for segregation.

  4. Dynamic Events Page:

    • An events page facilitated easy updates, displaying event details, descriptions, dates, locations, and photos. A user-friendly calendar enhanced accessibility.

  5. Partnerships Page:

    • An exclusive page showcased TEA's partners, promoting existing collaborations and enticing new partnerships.

  6. Comprehensive Contact Page:

    • The contact page included vital information, such as email, address, social media links, and an in-site contact form. A map with directions ensured ease of access.

Additionally, videography and editing work produced one event video and three interviews, enriching TEA's social media content.

Results

The implementation of the revamped website and enriched social media content yielded significant results for TEA:

    • The vibrant and user-friendly website led to increased engagement among students, prospective partners, and the wider TMU community.

  2. Enhanced Brand Visibility:

    • The professionally crafted event videos and interviews enhanced TEA's social media presence, garnering attention and interest from the student body.
